When running vm instance with workstation 8.0, we may get the error. This problem happened to me when using windows 7 64 bit edition with workstation 8.0
“You have an incorrect version of driver vmci.sys”
To resolve this
1. Open the vmx file related to the vm image
2. Change the following line
vmci0.present = “false”
